The pumpkin patch with Chloe's Mommy and Me class was this week. This is the 3rd year she has gone to the pumpkin patch so it was fun to see how she has grown over the years. Click here to see previous pumpkin patch photos 2008 and 2007 . She picked out the smallest little pumpkin. I took Chloe to pick out her Halloween costume this year. She is going to be Dr. Chloe (baby doctor). We bought her a medical kit with supplies, band-aids, and bandages to fix her Dolly. She loves wearing it to dress up around the house. We also got Matt a Sea World pass so we took Chloe this past weekend. She enjoyed going on the rides with Daddy and watching the dolphins.
It has been a difficult week getting Chloe adjusted to her toddler bed. We are used to her 3 hour naps in the afternoon, but it is a lot harder to enforce now that she can get out of her bed herself. She tries to make any excuse to not to be in bed. On a positive note, it had made her almost 90% potty trained since she can get up and go potty when she needs to. She doesn't need diapers for nap time and can go the whole night without a diaper. The only part I need to work on is when she is out of the house.

Wow! Loved looking back at the old pumpkin patch pictures!! I remember being there when she licked the pumpkin!!! Sounds like your day of long naps are over! :) You could do what John&Kate Plus 8 do....even if the kids don't sleep, they still need to have down time in their room in the afternoon (reading books or playing quietly).
I know that seems so long ago when you were here! My mom also used to do the same thing-giving us a little down time even if we didn't sleep. I think it will get better once she gets over the freedom that she has. I am also trying to finish up potty training at the same time so that makes it harder since she seems to have to have to go potty 3-4 times when during her nap.
