It has been a fun month of birthday parties, more parties, and egg hunts! Chloe really enjoyed getting ready for Easter this year, preparing our eggs for the egg hunts and dyeing her own Easter Eggs. Even though it was only March, she is already planning her own birthday party this year. After visiting the Railroad Museum in Balboa Park, she has decided that she would like a train party, with a train cake and cupcakes, train crafts, and a train to ride at the park. She wants to turn 3 years old now so that she can start preschool. We signed her up to go 2 days a week from 9am-1pm starting in mid-June for preschool. I was able to check out the preschool and I think it will be a good fit for her. Since I am finally starting to show, Chloe is very excited about her baby sibling on its way. She kisses my belly and asks the baby questions..."Do you like that food, baby?" My friends Manina and Brent came to San Diego for a visit in late March and were able to bring their niece Madison out with us during the week. We went to the zoo, the flower fields, the park, and to dinner with them. Chloe loved spending time with baby Madison and really hoped for a baby sister after that. She was very good with her so I know that she will be a helpful big sister once the baby comes.

Nana and Papa's Visit March 2010
Papa, Nana and Chloe in front of the Hotel Del.
My parents came out to visit in the beginning of the month. We had such a nice relaxing time with them. We went on a tour of the fire station one day with Chloe's Mommy and Me class, went to ballet class, walked around the mall, gymnastics class, and Coronado beach. Chloe didn't want them to leave!

Chloe's friends from Mommy and Me class (they have been in the same class since they were babies-Bibiana,Juliana, Belinda, and Jace)
She is becoming more inquisitive every day. She loves to ask question after question and she is usually not satisfied until I give her a detailed answer. We are letting her watch a little more TV now that she is older-she gets to watch a show in the morning for a few minutes while I fix her hair. Her favorites are Sid the Science Kid, Curious George, Super Why, Sesame Street , and Dinosaur Train. At night she gets to watch 10 minutes of Thomas the Train with Daddy before she goes to bed. We have to be careful with Chloe not to let her watch too much TV because she would sit in front of it all day if we let her. She loves to color, play with stickers, and playdough. She can spell her first and last name and she attempts to write her letters, basically she draws something and then says what letter it looks like. She is pretty good at drawing a C, O, D, X, V, U, W and M's. She can count to 20 and sometimes higher when she is in the mood (usually skipping the number 15).
