12 months and 2 weeks

Chloe is really walking now! All of the sudden she went from taking some steps on her own to walking all over the place! I have posted a few new videos of her walking around. Matt and I take her to the park every night to walk around to get her energy out. She is sleeping a lot better through the night now.

We have had a very busy week. This weekend we went to a work picnic for Matt. Matt played in baseball tournament and they had a bunch of carnival rides set up for the kids. Chloe enjoyed the train ride and the bounce house with some of the other younger kids. Kari and family came
to visit us this week for a few days and we went to Sea World with them and had lunch with Shamu. We also had Mommy and Me class this week and made baby food and did a sample stroller strides class (which I might join now). Thursday we had a playdate for the kids with Nicole, Tara, Monica, and Heidi. Chloe really enjoyed the kiddie pool. I think the swim lessons are really paying off. Chloe was flipping herself over underwater in the pool-what a little swimmer! Today we have a field trip in our class today to the science center.

We finally bought Chloe a big girl car seat. She is now forward facing in the car. I think she likes being able to see me and to be part of the conversation. Another step of her independence this week is she feeds herself food on a spoon. She does not want me to feed her anymore, so most of the food that I give her is finger food and the rest I help her get the food onto the spoon and she feeds herself. What a big girl! For her birthday from Kari she got a farm toy set so we practice what all of the animal sounds. She knows that a kitty says "meow" but thinks the rest of the animals say "nay":)
