11 months and 3 weeks

Happy 4th of July! Only one week until Chloe turns one! We are in Rochester this week. Chloe and I flew in on Tuesday July 1st and Chloe did really well on the flight. We flew from San Diego to Cincinnati (about 4 hr and 15 min). I brought a lot of new toys and snacks to entertain her. She didn't sleep as much as I had hoped, but she was really well behaved. There was a nine year old girl across the aisle that entertained Chloe the whole time, so Chloe shared her toys and said "thank you" for hours. All of the women around me wanted to hold Chloe too and everyone was very friendly. (I know not everyone loves traveling next to children, as I was once one of those people that hated listening to children cry on a plane). The layover was very quick and the second leg of the flight she slept the whole time.

We stayed with my parents the first few nights, went to visit my grandparents and took Chloe swimming, had a birthday party on the 4th of July for Chloe on my side of the family and then the next day had a party for her at Matt's side of the family. We stayed at Matt's this weekend and hung out with his family. We also got to see some of our friends from high school. So far it has been a very busy week!

Chloe is slowly adjusting to NY time and by the end of the weekend is finally back on her normal schedule. She enjoys entertaining everyone with her talking and impressing them with her very large appetite. I think she got another tooth that I never realized was there (so now 8 total). Her favorite food is blueberries and she could eat these all day if I let her. She is slowly transitioning from breast milk to whole milk and I hope to be done breastfeeding just after we return to San Diego. Matt and I will be going to NYC for three days alone and my mom will be watching Chloe.

Here are a few pictures of Chloe playing with her magnetic refrigerator letters and then on the 4th of July playing in her kiddie pool at the party. We have many more pictures to share soon!
