Camping Trip/Father's Day

Chloe went on her first camping trip this weekend! It was a short stay but we had a fun time! Camping with a baby is certainly a lot of work. We left on Saturday morning, arrived at Laguna Mountain (only about an hour away), set up our tent, and went for a nice long hike. We got back just in time to make a nice dinner, saw a performance that night(a guy reading stories about his 1950 ford and playing music on his keyboard), and then made a nice camp fire. The only bad thing was that Chloe had to be held most of the time because she crawls everywhere and picks up anything on the ground. She slept in her crib for a little while, but it got pretty chilly at night and wound up in bed all night with us. Sunday morning, Chloe woke us up very early, we ate breakfast, packed up, and headed back home. We were tired and decided to enjoy the rest of Father's Day at home. Even though we had fun, we will probably wait until she is walking the next time we go camping!
