10 months old!

Chloe turned 10 months old on Tuesday! I bought her a little potty this week because I pretty much know when she usually goes to the bathroom, so I thought I would put her on it with no pressure to see if she would go when I go. Surprisingly, she has gone several times on it since we bought it (both #1 and #2). Wednesday she even went on it 3 times! I am very proud of her. She seems to enjoy sitting on her potty and I read her stories. Here's a picture of her on the potty:) Now I am trying to teach her the sign for potty so eventually when she gets older she will have some way to tell me that she has to go. It seems to cut down on the number of cloth diapers we are using each day.

This week Chloe has discovered that she loves looking at herself in the mirror (here's a picture of her at My Gym). She laughs, waves, and kisses herself in the mirror. This week she enjoys looking at picture books and likes to play with toys that make noise. Her new thing that she does is she'll show me something she has in her hand and she will try to give it to me, but then doesn't want to let go of it when I take it. I thought she was trying to share, but I guess she wants to show me what she has so I can tell her what it is. It is funny how they change so fast!
