8 months and 3 weeks

Chloe is starting to get up on all fours and rocking this week, but still no forward crawling yet. She enjoys playing peekaboo, patty cake, and catch with mommy and she is still using her sign language for milk, eat, more, hello or goodbye, and claps when she gets excited about something. She likes toys that make music (here she is playing the xylophone in our Mommy and Me class) so I am thinking of finding a music class for her. April is a busy month for us. We have our Mon/Wed Mommy and Me class starting up again next week so we will have classes Mon-Fri. Our swim class just ended last week so Matt and I plan to take her swimming on our own time once a week (see our new video of her last class). I am finishing up my big paper for my Master's so I will graduate May 25th! Matt and I are planning 2 trips for April. We will be going for a weekend to Phoenix and then my mom will be coming out to watch Chloe for our trip to Cabo San Lucas at the end of April! It will be our first time away from Chloe for more than a few hours.

Congrats, Andrea!!! You graduate a few days after I do. It's so exciting!!! That's great that you have some trips planned. I bet it will be hard to leave Chloe - but good for you and Matt to have some real alone time!
