11 weeks old

We have had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa Gilbert this week. We went downtown one day to Horton Plaza, the Wild Animal Park another day, and La Jolla another day. Grandma says that Chloe seems bigger since she got here! Here's a picture of Chloe's first art project today in her Mommy and Me class. She had so much fun! We finger painted with orange pudding on a big pumpkin.

We had a fun walk in Coronado with Grandma and Grandpa on Saturday.

10 weeks old

Chloe's been keeping me pretty busy this week. She has discovered her hands finally and she now opens and closes them and stares at them and puts them in her mouth all of the time. Before her hands were in tight little fists. She even laughed for the first time this week. This week we went to the library for story time, which she loved because there were a bunch of kids there. We sang songs with them too-it was cute! On Friday we went to our Mommy and Me class again and she has such a good time! I really need to take some pictures next time we go. This week she is going to meet her other grandparents for the first time! Grandma and Grandpa Gilbert are coming to stay with us for the week to get to know Chloe.

Coronado

We took a very nice walk with Chloe on Friday night at the beach in Coronado. There was a beautiful sunset and it was such a nice peaceful walk. Just wanted to share a few of our pictures with everyone.

9 Weeks Old

This week Chloe slept 7 hours in a row on Monday night! The next few nights she has slept between 5-6 hours in a row. It is nice to get more sleep:) Now she will eat about every hour between 5-8pm at night, but it is getting her through the night. This week I took her to the library on Wednesday because they had the Birch Aquarium bring sea animals for the kids. Today we went to her Mommy and Me class. We sang songs, played with bubbles, made music shakers, and had a baby dance party. She loves her class and the other babies and is exhausted on the way home!
